NY BROOKHAVEN — Accessory Apartment Review Board approves 12 permits, denies one. The board unanimously approved accessory apartment permits at 12 properties across Brookhaven, ranging from 301 to 704 square feet and comprising 17.7 percent to 39 percent of each home's total living space. The board unanimously denied a 1,235-square-foot apartment at 15 Biltmore Drive in Shoreham, which would have constituted 31 percent of the property's living space.
Board members Irene Dabramo, Gail Lynch-Bailey, Michael Wentz, and Kristin MacKay also unanimously voted to hold open one permit pending plan revisions.
