NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven's Accessory Apartment Board approves nine permits, denies two for size. The board voted unanimously on fourteen applications at its Thursday meeting. Denied applications included a first-floor apartment at 38 Urban Drive in Selden measuring 889 square feet, representing 46 percent of the home's total living space, and a first-floor unit at 178 Country Road in Medford measuring 1,280 square feet.
One application was held open for percentage review, and three were postponed.
