Board Approves Cannabis Retail, Taco Bell, Warehouse Complex

NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven zoning board approved a cannabis retail store, Taco Bell drive-thru, and 150,000-square-foot warehouse complex at its October 22 meeting. Robin H. LLC won a three-year cannabis retail permit in East Setauket contingent on New York State licensing.
Centro NP Sunshine Square LLC secured approval for a Taco Bell in Medford with a reduced 76.6-foot front setback (100 required) and oversized signage relief; an arch light height variance was denied. Brookhaven Owner DE LLC's warehouse complex in Yaphank received unanimous approval for outdoor storage, motor vehicle repair depot, and overnight vehicle parking. A communications tower proposal by Country Farms, LLC and an appeal by Daryl Powell and Rena Dalen were continued to November hearings.
