Board approves Taco Bell signage relief in Patchogue

Board of Zoning Appeals · Meeting of April 29, 2026

NY BROOKHAVEN — The Brookhaven Board of Zoning Appeals approves Taco Bell with oversized signage in Patchogue. Gateway 7 LLC won unanimous approval for a restaurant with wall signs of 60.1 and 39 square feet, exceeding 32-40 square foot limits, and a ground sign only 5 feet from the property line rather than 22 feet. The board approved approximately 25 variances in April for residential subdivisions and home improvements, including renewals for a day care facility and relief for tree clearing in Medford.

Several subdivision applications remain held on the decision calendar pending further board review.
