NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven zoning board approves 23 variance requests in bulk session. The Board of Zoning Appeals granted 20 applications unanimously and approved three amended applications for residential additions, detached garages, swimming pools, and fence modifications at locations across Brookhaven and Fire Island. Among them: Classy Contracting, LLC received lot-area relief in Bellport with landscaping stipulations, and Michael Cresci won approval for a 16-foot detached garage.
The Brookhaven Free Library Association's shed-relocation request passed 3-1 with one abstention. Two cases were postponed to November 9, and one prior grant extension was approved.
