NY BROOKHAVEN — The Brookhaven Board of Zoning Appeals approved multiple residential and commercial variances and renewed special permits during its March 22 meeting. The board renewed a bed and breakfast special permit for five years and approved a one-year renewal for a game room facility. Morgan's Swan River Marina received approval for relief from entertainment setback restrictions, with outdoor seating permitted approximately 212 feet from the nearest residence.
Several residential property owners received variances for pools, garages, sheds, fencing, and home additions. Multiple cases, including parcel divisions and additional variances, were held for further consideration at the April 5 hearing.
