Accessory Apartment Review Board · Meeting of April 7, 2022

NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven Accessory Apartment Board approves 11 single-family accessory apartment permits. The board, with four members present, unanimously approved applications for residences across town from Mastic to East Setauket, with several conditional on submittal of missing documents or variance approval. The board rejected one permit application for 8 Oakland Street in Patchogue, ruling that the proposed 1,080-square-foot first-floor apartment exceeded size and occupancy thresholds and required Board of Zoning Appeals approval.

One additional application for 79 Lincoln Avenue in Port Jefferson Station was postponed pending further information.
