NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven accessory apartment board approves six permits, denies one application. The Accessory Apartment Review Board unanimously approved six applications meeting the board's dimensional and percentage requirements. One application by Konstantinos Kokkosis for 3108 Chestnut Avenue in Medford was denied because the proposed 647-square-foot lower-level apartment would represent 43.5 percent of total living space, exceeding the threshold and requiring a variance from the Zoning Board of Appeals.
One additional application was postponed due to applicant absence.
