NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven unanimously approves $2.3 million for bridge replacement and housing. Town Supervisor Daniel J. Panico led the board in approving $2.289 million in bonds for replacement of Sheep Pasture Road Bridge and authorized an additional $150,000 in bonding for the Records Management Center.

The board advanced multiple affordable housing initiatives by approving agreements with the Long Island Housing Partnership to administer federal HOME grants and by extending emergency solutions grants to organizations serving the homeless. In a contested zoning matter, the board approved Sunrise Toyota L.P.'s application to construct a motor vehicle dealership on Horseblock Road in Medford, despite opposition from four residents.
