Brookhaven Board adopts 58 resolutions, reappoints top officials

NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven Town Board unanimously adopts 58 organizational resolutions. Town Supervisor Daniel J. Panico and all six council members voted in favor of reappointing Town Attorney Annette Eaderesto and the Commissioner of Finance, along with adopting annual policies for 2026 including new requirements for cybersecurity oversight, employee timekeeping, fund balance management, and investment practices.
The board appointed Lucia Elam as Minority/Women's Business Enterprise Officer, designated 11 marriage officers, and authorized spending for highway equipment purchases and park operations.
