NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven Town Board closes 2024-2028 budget hearings. The board unanimously closed three public hearings on the town's 2024-2028 capital budget, special-district capital improvements, and 2024 operating budget. Town Supervisor Edward P.
Romaine presided with six members present; Councilwoman Jane Bonner was absent. Commissioner of Finance Tamara Branson-Werner presented at each hearing, and resident George Hoffman spoke at the first hearing. All recorded votes were unanimous.
