Town Board · Meeting of September 11, 2025

NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven rezones East Patchogue parcels to industrial; declares two properties unsafe. The Town Board unanimously rezoned East Patchogue parcels from residential and business to industrial following a closed public hearing and SEQRA Negative Declaration presented by Planning Director Donald Hohn. In parallel action, the Board unanimously determined 9 Woodland Road in Miller Place and 256 Middle Road in Blue Point unsafe pursuant to town code, following engineer reports by Cashin, Spinelli, and Ferretti, LLC.

Assistant Town Attorney Amanda Hill presented the determinations; citizens Paula Gati and Anthony Daidone supported demolition. The Board also adopted 28 resolutions unanimously, including environmental acquisitions.
