NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven Planning Board approves battery storage and nine additional projects unanimously. The board cleared a 110 megawatt battery energy storage system in Holtsville and approved commercial and residential development projects including façade changes for a Skechers store and an IHOP, landbanked parking with EV charging, covenant relief for two residential developments with reduced buffer requirements, and a Port Jeff Chrysler Jeep dealership expansion. All ten items passed with unanimous board approval.
