Brookhaven Town Board adopts preliminary 2026 budgets

NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven Town Board unanimously adopts preliminary 2026 budgets and sets public hearings. Town Supervisor Daniel J. Panico presented the operating budget and capital budget documents to the board on September 29, with six members voting in favor and Councilman Michael A.
Loguercio Jr. absent. The board scheduled three public hearings for November 6, 2025, at 5:00 PM covering the operating budget with special districts, special district capital improvements, and the capital budget exclusive of special districts.
