Brookhaven Town Board approves 12 development projects

NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven approves 12 development projects, authorizes 1.2 million dollars in bonds. The Town Board unanimously approved site plans, land divisions, and variance applications during an August 27 meeting, including a project for NYU Langone Hospitals at Patchogue that drew support from New York State Senator Dean Murray and local residents. Supervisor Daniel J.
Panico led the board through 14 planning applications overall, with 12 approved and three adjourned to September 17. The board also authorized two bond resolutions totaling 1,246,838 dollars for airport taxiway rehabilitation and roadway guide rail upgrades.
