NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven Town Board unanimously approves 64 resolutions. Supervisor Daniel J. Panico and five present councilmembers, with Councilman Neil J.
Foley absent, moved through a comprehensive consent agenda reappointing Town Attorney Annette Eaderesto and the Commissioner of Finance, appointing various town officers including Lucia Elam as Minority/Women's Business Enterprise Officer, and retaining special counsel Michael Cahill for the Department of Recycling and Sustainable Materials Management. The board adopted 13 major policies and procedures for 2024 spanning investment management, procurement, grants, fund balance, and continuing education, and authorized the Commissioner of Finance to manage interfund loans, bond proceeds, and debt service.
