BROOKHAVEN ZONING BOARD APPROVES BANK OF AMERICA WITH LOT-SIZE VARIANCE

NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven zoning board approves Bank of America drive-thru with lot-size variance relief. The Board of Zoning Appeals unanimously granted J. Nazzaro Partnership LP variances for a 56,000-square-foot parcel (65,000 required) at Montauk Highway and William Floyd Parkway in Shirley, plus a companion ground-sign variance.
AutoZone received approval for a 22-foot wall sign in Patchogue (18 permitted) and Bactolac Pharmaceutical for a 40-square-foot ground sign in Shirley (18 permitted). The board granted 14 residential variances for subdivisions and improvements but denied a four-plot division by A & K Holding Corp. in Mount Sinai and a two-plot division by Layla Colamussi in Rocky Point, both denied pursuant to Findings of Fact and Conclusions.
