Brookhaven Zoning Board approves dwelling variance with conditions

NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven zoning board approves conditional dwelling variance on undersized lot. The Board of Zoning Appeals unanimously approved FAER LLC's request for a one-family dwelling on a 57-foot lot at the southeast corner of Iroquois and Lincoln Avenues in Selden, subject to specific dwelling standards and a requirement that restrictive covenants be filed with the Suffolk County Clerk within 180 days of the decision or the grant becomes null and void. In a separate matter, the board unanimously denied a variance request from ICA Enterprise Inc. for a dwelling on a 50-foot lot in Shirley.

The board also approved 22 additional residential variances and postponed four applications to July 23.
