NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven zoning board approves residential variances across multiple town neighborhoods. The five-member Board of Zoning Appeals, chaired by Howard Bergson, granted approximately 20 property variance requests at its January 7 meeting, with most decisions passing unanimously. Approved applicants gained permission for porches, sheds, detached garages, swimming pools, and height variances for fencing.
The board held several applications for continued review at its January 21 hearing and granted relief of clearing limits previously imposed on three related Decorative Construction projects.
