NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven Town Board unanimously approves 2023 administrative policies and establishes employee salary schedule. All seven board members, led by Town Supervisor Edward P. Romaine, voted unanimously on 62 separate matters including investment, grants, continuing education, P-Card, procurement, fund balance, budgetary, and management policies.
The board appointed Lucia Elam as Minority/Women's Business Enterprise Officer and authorized the Commissioner of Finance to retain bond counsel, financial advisors, and related consultants. The board scheduled public hearings for January 26, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. on amendments to Town Code Chapters 20 and 89, and approved amendments to the Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe redevelopment grant application.
