NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven Board of Zoning Appeals approves 40-plus variance and subdivision requests. The board unanimously granted multiple setback and lot area variances for a proposed 7-Eleven motor vehicle fueling station at Route 112 and Granny Road in Coram, along with signage variances for the project. Special permits were renewed for Melo Enterprises' day care center in Miller Place for five years and XPlore Kids' game room in Port Jefferson Station for one year.
Melissa Lewando and Paul Wojcik received approval to harbor seven goats with existing structures on West Street in Patchogue for one year. The board approved subdivisions by Eleanor Nofthaft, Decorative Construction, and Helinda Realty Corporation, along with numerous residential variances for additions, conversions, and accessory structures.
