Town Board approves Evergreen Farms subdivision and multiple site plans

NY BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven approves 10-lot subdivision and commercial site plans in June session. The Town Board unanimously approved Evergreen Farms Estates, a 10-lot subdivision with cluster development in East Moriches, and granted site plan approvals for Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Mastic and façade changes for TD Bank and Vespa Italian Kitchen & Cocktails. Three restrictive covenant relief applications were approved for Centereach, Manorville, and Medford properties.
Two planning hearings were adjourned: Middle Island Road Industrial Building to July 17 and 295 Medford Avenue to August 28. The board determined 28 Creighton Avenue in Ronkonkoma unsafe; Scott Kennedy requested time to remedy conditions. The board approved a Suffolk County grant for Swan River Habitat Restoration and authorized applications for state funding for Mastic Beach sewage treatment.
